We are proud to announce that the da Vinci® Si Robotic Surgery System is now available at Marian Regional Medical Center!

Through the dedicated efforts and generosity of the Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation, the hospital has acquired the latest version of the revolutionary da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System, designed to provide:

• Clinical efficiency
• The highest level of safety in the operating room

This state-of-the-art robotics technology offers surgeons superior visualization, enhanced dexterity and unparalleled precision compared to traditional approaches. This means that surgeons are able to perform complex procedures using a minimally invasive approach resulting in less pain, smaller scars and shorter recovery times for patients.

For the past six months, a multispecialty Robotics Surgery Steering Committee has been developing and implementing Marian’s Robotics Surgery Program. The first cases have already been performed at Marian and the Robotics Surgery Program will be formally introduced to the community in September of this year. The da Vinci Surgery System’s list of procedures is rapidly growing and currently includes:

• Prostate
• Kidney
• Hysterectomy
• Gynecologic oncology
• Colorectal

This exciting addition of the da Vinci Robot to Marian provides our Central Coast patients and community with the most advanced surgical technology.
