Marian Medical Center has 10 state-of-the-art surgery suites available for general surgery. The surgeons and support staff are highly experienced and have conducted thousands of surgeries, improving the lives of our patients and their families. Specialties include:

Special expertise in breast cancer surgery is available, including less invasive breast biopsy techniques and availability of stereotactic breast biopsy, lumpectomy and/or mastectomy with sentinel node biopsy and breast conservation procedures.
Surgery at Marian Medical Center has never been safer. According to national protocols, Marian carefully monitors its rate of wound infection and currently reports a one-percent rate for surgical site infection in contrast to a national wound infection ratio of four percent, Levels I and II. This means that Marian Medical Center has a very low rate of wound infection and measures at one-fourth of the national average.
