WHO WE ARE
The Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access, Inc. – APA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) local non-profit organization, founded in Santa Maria in 2004 by local community members and physicians to assist individuals who struggle to meet their basic health needs and are unable to afford their medications. Many are forced to forego taking their prescriptions, greatly increasing the risk of additional decline to their health.
WHAT WE DO
APA provides access to brand-name medication for chronic conditions, at no cost to individuals and in collaboration with their physician by accessing Patient Assistance Programs (PAP’s) offered by the Pharmaceutical Companies.
