In order to provide optimal care for all patients, Marian staff members must ensure a quiet, healthy, and secure health care environment. The following patient guest guidelines have been designed for the visitor's needs as well as for the patient's comfort and rest; your cooperation is appreciated.
General Guidelines Patient Guest Visiting Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Patient guests, including children, are limited to two people at one time. Additional patient guests may remain in the first floor Visitor Center. Youth visitors (under 16) may visit for 30 minutes when accompanied by an adult. Exceptions may be made in consultation with the patient’s nurse.
Nap Time: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
For the rest and comfort of our patients, nap time has been implemented throughout the hospital (with the exception of the Same Day Care Center, specializing in outpatient care services).
• CCU - Patient guests are limited to two family members. Additional visitors may wait in the Visitor Center on the first floor.
• Surgery Waiting - Family members may wait in the Surgery waiting room on the second floor or the Visitor Center on the first floor.
• Emergency Department - Two visitors are welcome at the bedside. Others may remain in the Emergency waiting room.
• Labor and Delivery - The expectant mother may have the infant’s father plus two adult patient guests at a time. Siblings may visit for 30 minutes with adult supervision. Additional patient guests are welcome in the Visitor Center on the first floor.
• Post-Partum Unit (After Delivery) - The infant’s father is welcome between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and is not included within the two patient guest provision. Siblings and family (not limited to two) are welcome daily between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for family visitation. General guidelines apply to all others.
• Pediatrics - Parents and grandparents may visit at any time. Healthy siblings may visit for 15 to 30 minutes. General guidelines apply to all others.
Gift Shop:
Our Gift Shop is located in the main lobby on the first floor of Marian Medical Center and Marian West. We offer a variety of inspirational gifts, baby clothes, cards and flowers. Our Gift Shop is open daily from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
