Make a difference through volunteering
Volunteers are important to the staff at Marian Medical Center. The 350 men, women, and teens who volunteer at Marian share a common spirit, a desire to use their life experiences, education, and concern for others to support Marian's patients, visitors, and staff. Volunteers donate over 71,000 hours of work per year at Marian where they work in patient care areas, administrative /departmental offices, craft committees, and the Marian gift shop.
Marian volunteers come from every area of the Santa Maria Valley, and they represent all ages and all walks of life. Volunteers contribute toward the comfort and well being of Marian's patients and visitors and toward the smooth operation of many hospital services.
