Annual “Girls’ Night Out” Event

Marian Cancer Care is pleased to host the second annual Girls’ Night Out event for female cancer survivors on the Central Coast. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 6 p.m. in the Mission Hope Cancer Center Conference Room, located at 1325 E. Church Street, Santa Maria. (See Flyer)

Local and well-known magician, Rich Ferguson, will be the highlight of the evening by providing impressive and interactive entertainment. Rich Ferguson was recently named by New Times as San Luis Obispo’s 2012 Central Coast Best Entertainer and made his national television debut on the Ellen Show on March 31, 2011, with tricks that left Ellen amazed. In addition to being an award-winning magician, Rich is also an author and motivational speaker.

This special event is an opportunity for women to celebrate the many accomplishments they’ve made as a cancer survivor. At the event, attendees will reconnect with old acquaintances, meet new friends and converse with Marian Cancer Care and Mission Hope Cancer Center health professionals that have supported patients on their cancer journey.

“Our annual Girls Night Out event is sure to be a magical evening and is designed to celebrate the lives and many achievements of female cancer patients who have triumphed over cancer,” explains Katherine Guthrie, Dignity Health of the Central Coast Oncology Services Director. “On behalf of Marian Cancer Care, I encourage all Central Coast women cancer survivors to attend this amazing event which promises to be memorable.”

Refreshments and food will be provided for attendees. Space is limited. To book a reservation or for more information about the event, patients and their loved ones are to contact Marian Cancer Care at 805.219.HOPE (4673).
